The company’s Quality Management System was introduced in 1994.
In 1995, it was certified in accordance with the ÈSN EN ISO 9001:1995 Standard. The quality
management system certified in accordance with the ÈSN EN ISO 9001:2001 and ÈSN EN 3834-2
Standards was created in 2006. Since then, it has been documented and applied. This system is
continually improved in accordance with the requirements of the ÈSN EN ISO 9001:2001 Standard
on the basis of process approach.
The company has also introduced and maintained a quality system fulfilling the requirements
of Article 203 of the ÈSN 73 2601-Z2 Standard. It holds the appropriate certificate to manufacture
steel structures and assemble them in both shops and on construction sites. In addition, the
company holds the Advance Certificate of Competency issued in accordance with Articles 200
and 203 of the ÈSN 73 2601-Z2 Standard and extended in accordance with Clauses a), b), c),
d), e), g), i), and j) of Article 205 to manufacture and assemble (both in shops and on construction
sites) steel structures designed in accordance with the ÈSN 73 1401, ÈSN 73 6205, ÈSN 27 7008,
and ÈSN 73 1430 Standards and manufactured in accordance with the ÈSN 73 2601, ÈSN 73 2603,
ÈSN 73 5130, and ÈSN 73 1495 Standards, and Clauses a), b), c), d), e), g), i), and j) of Article 205
of the ÈSN 73 2601-Z2 Standard. The company further holds the Advance Certificate of Competency
in accordance with the DIN 18 800 Standard, Part 7, to manufacture welded steel structures.
In 2006, the Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with the
ÈSN EN ISO 14001:2005 Standard and the Management System of Health Safety
and Protection at Work in accordance with the OHSAS 18000:1999 Specification were
introduced and certified in our company. As the company applied and had the certified systems
of quality management, environmental protection and health safety and protection at work, it was
awarded the “GOLDEN CERTIFICATE” in 2006.
The Quality Control Department includes Accredited Calibration Laboratory No. 2234
that calibrates instruments for measuring length, plane angle, force, pressure, electric quantities,
and time in accordance with the accreditation criteria of the ÈSN EN ISO/IEC 17025 Standard. The
Office for Technical Standardization, Metrology and National Testing has decided to authorize
Krušnohorské strojírny Komoøany a.s. (its calibration laboratory) as a calibration service centre
to calibrate measuring instruments of other entities.
The Quality Control Department also includes a Defectoscopy Centre equipped with instruments
by the Krautkrämer, Seifert, and Tiede companies. Using these instruments, the centre performs ultrasonic
testing, X-ray testing, penetration testing, magnetic testing, and visual surface testing. Testing is performed
by qualified workers certified in accordance with the requirements of the ÈSN EN 45 013 Standard, Standards
Std – 301/E/95 APC, Std 201/E/95 VTP, or examined in accordance with the requirements of the ÈSN EN 473
Standard.
The Centre for Non-Disassembly Diagnostics is another part of the Quality Control Department.
It is equipped to measure vibration, inspect the state of antifriction bearings, perform frequency analyses,
position rotary machinery using a laser-optical instrument, and balance rotary machinery and equipment during
their operation. The Quality Control Department also provides vibrating to reduce residual stress in welded pieces.
